Built because the notebook kept losing.
Cylinder Tracker Pro started at a real counter, in a real refrigerant gas cylinder business — the kind where cylinders go out on trust, deposits sit in a drawer of carbon-copy receipts, and the most important asset register in the company is a notebook with one person's handwriting in it.
That system works until it doesn't. A cylinder doesn't come back and nobody notices for a month. A customer disputes a deposit and the page that would settle it is missing. The person who “knows the book” takes leave and the counter slows to a crawl. None of it is anyone's fault — it's just what happens when thousands of rupees of steel and gas are tracked on paper.
So we built the tool we couldn't find: not a generic inventory app with a cylinder icon, but software shaped like the business itself. Statuses like At the Counter. Refill entries that stay pending until the supplier delivers. Number swaps that don't break history. An activity log that puts a name on every movement.
What we believe
- The counter comes first. If a feature slows down a busy counter, it's the feature that's wrong.
- Records end arguments. Invoice numbers, due dates and named actions beat memory every single time.
- Your data is yours. Everything exports to Excel and PDF. If we ever stop deserving your business, you leave with your records.
Today, Cylinder Tracker Pro tracks cylinders, customers, suppliers, warehouses and staff for dealers who decided their business deserved better than a register. If that's you, we'd like to help.
Run your counter on it this week.
